# Orders, leverage, and positions

## Order types

The advanced interface can offer:

* Market
* Limit
* Scale
* Stop Limit
* Take Limit
* Stop Market
* Take Market
* TWAP

Availability can depend on the mode and market.

## Leverage

Leverage is selected per market up to that market's displayed maximum. Higher leverage increases liquidation risk and can cause a Max Drawdown to be reached faster.

## Reduce Only

Use **Reduce Only** when an order should reduce an existing position rather than open or increase one.

## Take Profit / Stop Loss

TP/SL controls can apply to the full position or a configured size. Trigger-market orders execute when the trigger is reached; trigger-limit orders submit a limit order and may not fill.

## Position and order controls

The interface supports:

* Close
* Close All
* Adjust Leverage
* TP/SL
* Modify eligible order size or price
* Cancel
* Cancel All

Market orders can fill at a different price from the latest displayed price.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.duels.trade/trading/orders-and-positions.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
