# Scoring and final standings

## Portfolio Duel

Standings are based on percentage gain. This allows traders with different portfolio sizes to compete using relative performance.

## Kingmaker

Standings are based on USDC performance in the Duel Wallet. A trader who reaches the selected Max Drawdown is eliminated.

## Funded Duel

Standings are based on the ending $1,000 virtual-capital balance. Falling below the mode's minimum virtual balance causes elimination.

Funded Duel uses the same consensus price reference for simulated entries and exits, live PNL, liquidation, and final scoring. If a dependable current consensus price is unavailable, price-dependent actions wait for the market view to recover.

## Draws

A draw can occur when eligible traders finish with effectively equal performance under the mode's scoring rules. The app marks tied traders in first place and displays **Reward Split**.

## Final versus live values

Final results can differ from the last live update because settlement may include:

* Position closing
* Final fill data
* Funding and exchange effects
* Draw detection
* Settlement fees

The contract layer carries out the confirmed financial outcome. It does not independently calculate standings or choose the winner.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.duels.trade/duels/scoring-and-standings.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
